Summer School is offered as an enrichment program each summer for elementary and middle school students enrolled in LSR7.

Important Dates:

Inclement weather days are added to the end of the 2024-25 calendar year. Any changes to Summer School dates due to those calendar adjustments will be reflected here.

Enrollment Dates

K-5th Grade:
Opens: 12 p.m. on March 26
Closes: 3 p.m. on April 4

6th-8th Grade:
Opens: 12 p.m. on March 27
Closes: 3 p.m. on April 4

Summer School Dates

  • Elementary and Middle summer school will run Monday - Friday from June 4 - July 2
  • Summer school is closed on Thursday, June 19 in observance of Juneteenth.

Students may enroll at any Summer School site, regardless of home school, if transportation is provided. To access shuttle service, please enroll at the site connected to your home school. More shuttle information will be shared with the course catalog.

Y Club Lee's Summit

Y-Club enrollment for the summer opens at 6 a.m. on February 25. For more information about Y Club Summer Camp options in Lee's Summit visit the YMCA Summer Camp Information website or call Y Club Support at 816-360-3390.

High school students can attend summer school in-person and online.

6:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m./7 a.m. -1 p.m.

  • 20-Day Classes: June 4-July 2
  • 10-Day Classes: 
    • Session 1: June 4 - June 17
    • Session 2: June 18 - July 2

*No School on June 19, 2025

Enrollment Dates

  • 3 p.m. Feb. 25 - 3 p.m. April 24

Late Enrollment

  • 3 p.m. May 1 - 3 p.m. May 15
